Russian authorities have subjected Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) and civilian captives to torture, prolonged incommunicado detention, enforced disappearance and other inhumane treatment, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, Amnesty International said in a new report today.
Amnesty International Ukraine stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainian journalists, who categorically condemn the wave of hate, threats, and pressure received by independent Ukrainian media Texty (Texty.org.ua) after publishing an analytical study on the political, media, and expert environment in the United States, which influences decision-making about further support for Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
